Granted the hereditary title of 'Raja', 2nd July 1708. Granted the personal title of 'Maharajadhiraja' as ruler of a large number of territories. Served under Maharaja Jai Singh of Amber, against the Mahrattas. A Great warrior who's armies fought 108 successive battles. X (firstly) H.H. Maharani Sri Lal Kanwar Sahiba. 1752 - 1758 H.H. Raja Aman Singh, Raja of Panna. Succeeded his brother, 1752 but was assasinated by his brother, Hindupat.

1758 - 1777 H.H. Raja Hindupat Singh, Raja of Panna. Succeeded his brother, 1758. X several wives. He d. 1777, having had issue three sons:

1777 - 1779 H.H. Raja Anirudh Singh, Raja of Panna. Succeeded on the death of his father, 1777. Deposed by his elder brother, 1779.

1779 - 1785 H.H. Raja Surmed Singh, Raja of Panna. Succeeded on the deposition of his younger brother 1779. X several wives. He d.s.p. legit at Rajnagar, 1785, leaving issue an only illegitimate son by a Muslim lady:

1) Kanwar Hurrah Singh, X and had issue one son:
 a) Kanwar Pratap Singh, of Chhatrapur. Entrusted with the government of the state, 1823.

1785 - 1798 H.H. Raja Dhonkal Singh, Raja of Panna. Succeeded on the death of his brother, 1785. X several wives. He d.s.p. 1798, leaving issue an only illegitimate son who succeeded him:

1798 - 1834 H.H. Raja Kishore Singh Ju Deo Bahadur, Raja of Panna. Succeeded on the death of his natural father without legitimate issue, 1798. Entrusted the government of the state to his cousin, Kanwar Pratap Singh, 1823. Expelled from Panna by his cousin. X several wives. He d. in exile, 1834, having had issue three sons:

1) H.H. Raja Harbans Singh Ju Deo Bahadur, Raja of Panna alias Harbans Ray - see below.
2) H.H. Mahendra Maharaja Narpat Singh Ju Deo Bahadur, Maharaja of Panna - see below.
3) Raja Bahadur Shrimant Devi Prasad Ju Deo.

1834 - 1849 H.H. Raja Harbans Singh Ju Deo Bahadur, Raja of Panna. Became Regent on the expulsion of his father. Succeeded him, 1834. He d.s.p. 1849 (succ. by his younger brother).

1849 - 1870 H.H. Mahendra Maharaja Narpat Singh Ju Deo Bahadur, Maharaja of Panna. Succeeded on the death of his brother, 1849. Granted the hereditary title of 'Maharaja Bahadur', 2nd October 1866 and the personal title of 'Mahendra', 11th January 1869. X several wives. He d. at Panna, 9th June 1870, having had issue three sons:

1) H.H. Mahendra Maharaja Shri Sir Rudra Pratap Singh Ju Deo Bahadur, Maharaja of Panna - see below.
2) H.H. Mahendra Maharaja Shri Lokpal Singh Ju Deo Bahadur, Maharaja of Panna - see below.
3) Rao Raja Shri Kuman Singh Ju Deo Sahib Bahadur. X (firstly) Bari Rao Rani Sanjhli Bahu Sahiba, daughter of Sawai Rao Sahib Bahadur Diwan Kamod Singh. X (secondly) Nanhi Rao Rani .. Sahiba, daughter of Sawai Rao Sahib Bahadur Diwan Kamod Singh. He d. at the Raj Mandir Palace, Panna (poisoned), 25th June 1901, having had issue three sons and two daughters:

b) Raja Shri Raghavendra Singh Ju Deo Sahib alias Majhle Raja. b. 23rd August 1896, educ. Mayo Coll, Ajmer and with ICC, Dehra Dun. Granted the title of 'Raja Sahib', October 1932.
c) Lieutenant-Colonel Raja Shri Bharatendra Singh Ju Deo Sahib alias Nanne Raja. b. 9th November 1898, educ. Mayo Coll, Ajmer and with ICC, Dehra Dun. Granted the title of 'Raja Sahib', October 1932. MSC and Home Minister, 1947. X at Katni, 9th October 1929, a daughter of the Raja Sahib of Katni, Bijaypur. He had issue one son:
i) Raj Kumar Shri . Singh Ju Deo. b. at Panna, 22nd October 1930.
a) Rajju Raja Beti Umrao Kanwar Sahiba (only child of Sanjhli Bahu Sahiba). X .. She d. 25th January 1912, having had issue two daughters.
b) H.H. Maharani Baiji Shri Padmin Kinverba Sahiba. b. at Panna, posthumously, 1902 (d/o the junior Rao Rani) X at Panna, 18th June 1917, as his second wife, Lieutenant-Colonel H.H. Maharana Shri Sir Vijayasinhji Chhatrasinhji Sahib, Maharaja of Rajpipla, GBE, KCSI (b. at Nanod, 30th January 1890; d. in London, 29th April 1951), eldest son of H.H. Maharana Shri Sir Chhatrasinhji Gambhirsinhji Sahib, Maharaja of Rajpipla, KCIE, by his first wife, H.H. Wankanerwala Maharani Baiji Sahib, elder daughter of Maharana Raj Shri Banesinhji Jaswantsinhji Sahib, Maharana Raj Sahib of Wankaner. - see that family.
4) Rao Raja Shri Lakshman Singh Ju Deo Bahadur, of Jigni. b. 22nd August 1860, educ. Rajkumar Coll, Nowagong. Granted the title of 'Rao Bahadur' by HM The Queen-Empress, 1st January 1877. Succeeded to the estate of Jigni on adoption, 16th September 1871 and assumed personal charge when he came of age, 22nd August 1881. X . He d. 1892, having had issue one son:
a) Rao Raja Hira Singh Ju Deo, educ. Mayo Coll, Ajmer and with ICC, Dehra Dun. Hon Lieut. IA, 15/10/1914; served in the Great War.

1870 - 1893 H.H. Mahendra Maharaja Shri Sir Rudra Pratap Singh Ju Deo Bahadur, Maharaja of Panna, KCSI (31.12.1875). b. at Panna, 10th July 1848, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 9th June 1870. Granted the hereditary title of 'Mahendra Bahadur', 1875 and a permanent salute of 13 guns, 1st January 1877. Rvcd. The Prince of Wales's Medal (1876) and the KIH Medal (1877). X (firstly) H.H. Mahandra Maharani Shrimati Bari Sarkar Bagia Sahiba, of Bagia. X (secondly) H.H. Mahandra Maharani Shrimati . Baraichia Sahiba, of Baraich. He d. 1893, having had issue an only daughter:

1893 - 1898 H.H. Mahendra Maharaja Shri Lokpal Singh Ju Deo Bahadur, Maharaja of Panna. Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, 1893. X several wives. He d. at Panna, 9th March 1898, having had issue one son and two daughters:

Invested at Panna, 7th June 1898. Deposed, 20th June 1902. X (firstly), February 1895, H.H. Mahandra Maharani Shrimati Panarawala Sarkar Sahiba (d. at Panna 1896). X (secondly) 1897, H.H. Mahandra Maharani Shrimati Nonairwali Sarkar Bahu Sahiba (d. at Panna in childbirth, 21st April 1901). X (thirdly) April 1900, H.H. Mahandra Maharani Shrimati Nanhi Sarkar Sahiba. He d. in exile at Bellery, 30th December 1931.

1902 - [1971] Colonel H.H. Mahendra Maharaja Shri Sir Yadvendra Singh Ju Deo Bahadur, Maharaja of Panna, KCSI (1.1.1932), KCIE (1.1.1922). b. 31st July 1893, eldest son of Rao Raja Shri Khuman Singh Ju Deo Sahib Bahadur. Educ. Mayo Coll, Ajmer and with ICC, Dehra Dun. Succeeded on the deposition of his cousin, 20th June 1902 and reigned under a Council of Regency until he came of age. Invested with full ruling powers, 4th February 1915. Hon Lieutenant-Colonel, IA 15/10/1946 (Hon Maj. 3/4/1942; Hon Capt. 1/2/1936) attached 7th Rajput Regiment. Colonel-in-Chief Chhatrasal Infantry, 1922. Colonel-in-Chief 1st Patiala Rajendra Lancers. Deprived of his rank, titles and honours by the GOI, 28th December 1971. X (firstly) at Bhavnagar, 2nd December 1912, H.H. Mahendra Maharani Shri Manhar Kunwarba Sahiba, KIH Gold Medal (3.6.1916) (d. at Kasauli, Simla, 23rd May 1927), only daughter of Colonel H.H.
